Bio-organic solid fertilizer for climate-neutral, sustainable agriculture
Concept development
In Bavaria, the declining value added from field crop cultivation is very pronounced due to high fertiliser costs, combined with the problems of low precipitation and "poor" soils. In addition, there are problems such as nitrate-polluted groundwater, ineffective use of agricultural residues, lack of humus build-up, lack of development of soil fauna and flora, excess fuel use and a less than optimal C02 balance. The aim of the project is to develop a concept for increasing the value added in crop production through the production and use of a bioorganic solid fertiliser for climate-neutral sustainable agriculture in regions with low soil value and low precipitation.
Results and the Final report will be found here, as soon as the project is completed.
