The transfer of pictures is currently practiced by business partners in horticulture via smartphone and similar techniques. From 2020, the 5 G standard and the fiber optics will provide a tactile internet even in rural areas, so the goal of federal governement. Aditionally, the use of these bi-directional transfer possibilities opens up new possibilities in the field of digital film, video, streaming and picture techniques. The aim of this project is for horticulture companies to make data transmissions in real time with customers or other business partners, for example, a virtual tour oft he company or a recognition of pest with advice in real time. The OG ist testing possibilities of picture transfer by using high – resolution film techniques and Mixed Reality Glasses in everyday life in the company and bringing them to a practicable technical standard. The creation and securing of future-oriented digital marketing secures the produchtion and sales of regional ornamental plants. As a consequence of these actions, a contribution is made to secure the position oft he horticultural businesses in North Rhine-Westphalia.
